In addition to several new software betas and new Tech Talks today, Apple has more developer news to share today. Starting today, TestFlight will now support up to 2,000 external testers for iOS and tvOS. TestFlight allows developers to easily share pre-release versions of their apps with a large group of external testers outside of their own development team.

TestFlight was previously limited to 1,000 external testers on iOS and tvOS. Internal testing is limited to 25 team members on 10 devices each. Apple also notes on its TestFlight website that beta periods now last 60 days versus 30 days before.

Since acquiring TestFlight last year, Apple has maintained TestFlight apps on iOS with support for watchOS and tvOS. Apple first announced these changes, which go live today, earlier this year at WWDC.
